Break The Pattern
3‑Step Tool Kit
You've figured out how to get what you want almost everywhere else.
The business. The schedule that actually works. The plan for the kids, the calendar, the version of your life that looks, from the outside, like you have it handled.
And then there's your marriage.
You've talked about it. You've told him exactly what you need. You've tried doing more. You've tried doing less. You've probably read the books, understood your attachment style, maybe done years of therapy.
And somehow, you keep ending up back in the same place.
There's a reason for that:
The strategy that works everywhere else in your life was never built for this. It's not a communication problem. It's not a "try harder, explain it better" problem.
It's a pattern problem — running underneath the fight, not in the words of it.
I'm going to show you the actual pattern, and exactly where it breaks.
The fight isn't happening in the words. It's happening underneath them — in a nervous system pattern that's running on autopilot, faster than either of you can think.
The words & the insight
Books · talk therapy · communication tips · explaining it better
Where most approaches aimThe pattern underneath
Your nervous system state · the automatic roles you each fall into · what your body reaches for before you can think
Where this workshop worksI had the psychology background. The communication tools. The self-help books. The awareness. I understood relationships intellectually.
And behind closed doors, in 2019, my marriage still fell apart. Same arguments. Same resentment. Same disconnection — no matter how much I understood it in my head.
"Nobody is doing downward dog to try and regulate in the middle of a kitchen fight."
All the insight in the world doesn't help when your nervous system is already flooded. I didn't need a different husband. I needed to understand what was actually running the pattern between us — nervous system work, matched with simple communication frameworks, and a real reset at the root.
That's what changed things. Not overnight. Not perfectly. But for real, and it held.
We didn't split up the way we both expected to. We reset, completely. We started dating again.
This is our second marriage — to the same person. We weren't incompatible. We just didn't know what we didn't know yet.
That's what you're ready to discover in three steps.
This isn't three steps where hash out your feelings again.
You probably already know how you feel. If naming the feeling was going to fix it, it probably already would have.
This is three sessions of actually changing the pattern — together.
Here's how we'll use the three sessions
We start with what's actually happening in the moment a fight begins. You'll learn to catch which role each of you is playing before you're already acting from it — and locate what your body already knows, often before your mind has caught up.
We name the specific nervous system hidden pattern running the show — the default your body reaches for automatically, whether or not it's actually needed anymore. Then we align that protective pattern with what it's actually trying to protect, instead of letting the two fight each other.
This is where it becomes usable — the 3-Step Communication Toolkit™, after the first two days have already done their job.
This Is What It Looks Like On The Other Side
That night you gave me the language to change our toxic dance after 10 years of trying everything else, just spinning our wheels… I do not recognize him OR my marriage. We've transformed in the most beautiful, unrecognizable way… I cannot thank you enough for empowering me to be so direct & authentic.
I'm able to speak to someone I've been married to 22 years in completely different (and safe) ways for the first time (so sad to admit). He is able to stay in the conversation instead of ejecting, I'm able to bring more vulnerability knowing he will treat it with more care.
You told me to trust the process. We had the most amazing lunch today. We cried a lot. And kissed. Talked about moving forward as a couple. And tonight I moved 3 suitcases back from my parents house home. The kids were so excited. Thank you so much. You are the best.
I was an anxiously attached mess before arriving here, unsure if my marriage would survive after infidelity… Rise gave me the tools to step away and say, no matter the outcome, I WILL BE OK. And not just ok - I can thrive.
I was reactive and quick to anger and quick to respond in high emotion… & I've created this relationship with my protector where she's got my back… I'm seeing people differently. That's been the game changer for me. You were not afraid, you just carried me through it and supported me. Thank you, I'm so very very grateful… There was no way I couldn't have got here because of the guidance you provided.
Two things that struck me… firstly I can't remember a time where this level of support was asked for and received. Secondly, it was only days later I realised that I had stated my feelings and needs without agonising over it, without doubting myself… To not have a rehearsed conversation is unheard of for me.
I have broken through the glass ceiling… My husband and I were discussing and reflecting on our evolving/maturing communication strategies and realised we both hadn't felt disconnected… it's the reconnection with myself… the breakthrough is more than relieving… it's liberating.
…probably because we are actually talking again rather than just co existing silently lol… I'm feeling a lot more calm and centred personally. We've had some progress within our arguments… he is away for work and I'm not totally freaking out about it like I ordinarily would which feels pretty amazing!!!
And instead we were able to sit down and just like have a conversation in a way that we could hear each other… just to be able to really name this is what's really going on for me… it's not about the dishes. It's about feeling cared for, feeling seen, feeling appreciated.
…it does feel like our conflicts are more… less divisive or less alienating. We can be with each other in the conflict and it doesn't feel threatening to either of us… I used to immediately feel like, oh my gosh… this is over… I don't feel that way anymore.
Vulnerability cared for and actually leading to very very deep connection. Looking at past relationship devastating moments with new eyes and insight about the other's parts (and surprise of all surprises actually feeling MORE connected after and not hopeless).
I think you just like spoke right into everything that was happening for me… your protector, you know, it was like protecting you and that behavior made sense for a long time… I've been in therapy… lots of different times… And I never had heard anything put that way.
…my goal was to get out of the cycle that put me into the affair and to look at some of my deeper… formation and wounds… I kind of quickly realized, oh, yeah, that's why this didn't work the first time. That's why we were still stuck in this cycle that got us there in the first place.
We are deeply grateful for the impact the Rise into Regulation Program has had on our family. It's been life changing. Prior to starting the program, we were stuck in what we now call the ‘circle of death’—exhausting, unproductive conversations… We learned to identify and express our true feelings and needs… We went from reactive to interactive.
The shifts you'll walk away with
You'll finally know the difference between…
…and the right next step to take from there.
Spot the pattern as it starts — not halfway through, when you're already acting from it.
Respond from a regulated nervous system instead of a flooded one.
Name what's really going on for you — clearly, and without agonising first.
Disagree and stay connected — instead of someone shutting down or walking out.
What's included
You can have one more day, one more month, one more year of the same pattern playing out again — or you can have one new day, today, where the pattern actually starts to change for good.
You don't have to know yet whether this is a communication issue or something deeper.
You don't have to have already decided to stay or go.
You just have to know: you're no longer willing to keep doing this the same way.
Does my partner have to participate?
No. The Relief of the Breakthrough can begin with you. You don't need permission to get relationships that work — today you release what you're carrying, switch what's actually yours to work with, and embrace what shifts when you do.
Do I need to be a in a Relationship Right Now to get benefit out of this?
No - C.L.E.A.R. allows you to reset so that ALL relationships start to serve you better — family, friends, future romantic relationships, and even reconciliations.
What if my partner doesn't change?
This is not 3 sessions teaching you creative new ways to perform, or to get the other person to change. We're going to work with the pattern that's actually driving repeating cycles underneath — the other person now gets a chance to evolve too, and their response afterward is just information, which gives you your next step.
Are you going to tell me whether I should stay or leave?
No. That answer isn't found faster by pushing toward an answer before you're ready. This work helps you get out of the loop you're stuck in and get clear enough to trust your own read on what comes next — especially when the potential is still there, it's just been hiding behind a pattern that no longer serves you.
What if I've already tried therapy?
That's most of the people in this room. This isn't another place to spend three days understanding why you have the problems you have. It's where you finally work with and actively reset what's underneath them.
Is this therapy?
This is education and coaching not therapy. So if you're ready and empowered to from just talking about old cycles, to finally changing ingrained relationship patterns, this is where you need to be.
